It doesnt rain, but it pours…

Sometime around 12 midnight, the studio was broken into via the side window. The joiner who was working late night refurbishing the upper floor heard something downstairs for a few minutes and did a quick check but seen nothing. The IT company at the far end of the hall didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary all night.

The PC, both camera’s (Canon 200D and the Nikon), the lenses, both Zhiyun gimbals, the mic and its scissor arm have all been taken. The shelves holding the items up for review and the items up for giveaway have all but been cleared out. All review items and all giveaway items including the giveaway stuff that was sitting on the table for the table cam recordings was all taken.

Whoever did it knew their ecig stuff… the picture’s attached tells the story. The shelves behind me was re-arranged yesterday and a lot of stuff was moved around. Looks normal right? Wrong, take a look at the little clay pot. The Labrys JNR was stolen which was sitting right next to it, it retails for about £260…but everything else was left on the display shelves, the cheaper items was left on the desk, but the blue camp g class and a few others was lifted. They also picked the perfect time to hit the studio, £1500 (retail) of Asmodus gear had arrived yesterday morning, all of that was taken as well.

… it’s looking more and more like a targeted hit.

As of right now, there is nothing left in the studio to review on or with. With the PC being stolen all the pre-recorded stuff for this week is lost, and with the cameras gone…well..there’s nothing in the studio to record with.

With the review shelves being cleared out, there is no items to actually review, I will be emailing all the companies that had items already sent in to inform them of what has happened. All the giveaways for the channel (12 days and Christmas giveaways) was all posted out yesterday morning.

What does this mean for the channel? Well, as of today everything has stopped. There’s nothing in to review and nothing to record the reviews with. Replacing the recording equipment will take time, and I will need to go other everything in the studio once forensics have given it a once over to sort everything out.

…also, before some knuckledraggers out there feel obliged to troll and say it was an insurance job, I wasn’t insured for the entire contents, just the PC.
